Lorenzo Maria Dentici

I am a lawyer specialised in labour law, and work as a solicitor in Italy, where I have been admitted to practice before the Supreme Court (Corte di Cassazione). I am also a tenured researcher and adjunct professor of labour law at the University of Palermo, where I have taught labour law and EU employment law at undergraduate, graduate and doctoral level. I graduated in law from the University of Palermo, with an Erasmus term at the University of Aberdeen (Scotland), and a thesis on 'Gender equality in EU employment law'. I also earned a master's in comparative and European law and a PhD in business law from the University of Palermo, with a thesis on sanctions and protection techniques in labour contracts. I have also been a Robert Schuman scholar at the European Parliament in Luxembourg, and visiting scholar at the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies of the University of Oxford. I  am the author of a book and a number of publications in the field of labour law, and have also been a member of national and international research groups in the field. I have also been a visiting professor and guest speaker at conferences and training courses. I have always combined my academic commitment and professional activity, with particular attention to labour law, and I am a member of Associazione Italiana di Diritto del Lavoro and Associazione Avvocati Giuslavoristi Italiani.
