About the University:
Universidade Estadual de Campinas is a public university in the state of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Unlike other Brazilian universities that were created by integrating existing higher education institutions, Unicamp was created from scratch in 1966 as a full-fledged university. Unicamp also stands out for its large proportion of graduate students, more than half of its student base. In 2018, 20 thousand of its more than 37 thousand students were graduate students.
