Vladimir Kozlov is an associate professor at the National Research University Higher School of Economics, where he teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in demography and demographic analysis, economic demography, migration studies, game theory and social policy. He is also a researcher in the Institute of Demography and the Laboratory of Social and Demographic Policy at the same university and the academic supervisor of the Master in Population and Development. He holds a PhD in Economics from Moscow Lomonosov State University with a thesis on family policy in Russia: different financial, organizational and responsibility levels. His research interests lie in population (mostly economics of population, ageing and epidemiology) and migration studies as well as in institutional and new political economics. He has published extensively on those subjects in peer-reviewed journals.
