Ovidiu Ghiuta is an associate professor at the faculty of food engineering of Universitatea Stefan cel Mare din Suceava, where he teaches courses in marketing and is also Erasmus co-ordinator. He obtained a double doctoral degree in management from Université de Rouen in France and Universitatea Alexandru Ioan Cuza din Iasi, with a thesis on Brand influence on electoral behaviour. He also has a master's degree in marketing planning and strategy from Universitatea Alexandru Ioan Cuza din Iasi, with a dissertation on Positioning strategies in political marketing.
